Fallout’s iconic Power Armor gets a perfect new release in 2027

With Prime Video’s Fallout series set to return no earlier than 2027 with season 3 and Fallout 5 in the works at some point after The Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout fans will have to satiate their thirst for Wasteland adventures in other ways for now. At some point soon, that may include a remake or remaster of Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas, but for now, getting one’s Fallout fix will have to happen in other ways.

One promising project on the horizon is a new model kit based on Fallout’s T-60 Power Armor, coming from toy giant Good Smile and Max Factory. Good Smile’s Fallout Plamatea T-60 Power Armor model kit is up for preorder now, and estimated to arrive next summer. (So yes, that means more waiting, Fallout fans.) The ready-to-assemble model kit lets you recreate the Brotherhood of Steel’s super-suits at home in impressive detail.

The Fallout Plamatea T-60 Power Armor model kit stands approximately 200 mm tall (just shy of 8 inches) and includes a handful of fun Fallout accessories: minigun, assault rifle, fusion core, and a bottle of Nuka-Cola, plus multiple hands for different poses.

Good Smile’s Fallout Plamatea T-60 Power Armor model kit is aimed at first-time model builders; the kit uses snap-fit connections for easy assembly, and doesn’t require separate adhesives. Some parts are pre-painted, and builders can customize the kit with water-slide decals to match the Power Armor worn by Brotherhood of Steel knights. Good Smile’s photos of the kit show some additional customization. Serious hobbyists can paint and weather the armor as they see fit for a more authentic appearance.

The Fallout Plamatea T-60 Power Armor model kit costs $57.99 and is available for pre-order through Aug. 26. The kit is expected to ship between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2027. So, yeah, more waiting. But when Fallout fever takes hold of the populace again next year, there’ll be a fun project for fans to put together.

It’s that or another re-release of Fallout 4.
