Where to find the Festival Loop Speed Zone in Forza Horizon 6

The Festival Loop Speed Zone is one of the many speed zones where you must reach dangerously high speeds to earn rewards in Forza Horizon 6.

It’s also one of the locations you must visit as part of the “Theory of Evolution” weekly challenge in the Horizon Decades series, which requires you to complete a series of events in the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM Edition. The car can be bought for 70,000 credits from the Autoshow, but since this challenge tasks you with achieving three stars, you may need to upgrade it.

Here’s where you can find the Festival Loop Speed Zone and some tips for completing the challenge.

As you may be able to guess from the name of the location, the Festival Loop Speed Zone can be found to the south of the main Horizon Festival site in the Ohtani region. It’s a short speed zone, so “loop” is a slight exaggeration, but it’ll take you through two corners just below the roundabout.

You’ll almost certainly need to upgrade your 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TM Edition to achieve three stars here, though. I managed it by using the auto-upgrade to make it an S2 class vehicle, then I equipped rally tires to help deal with the snow. Even then, it still took a couple of attempts. With the stock version of the car, I was struggling to beat 80mph, when you need 90mph to complete the challenge.

Once you’ve beaten this challenge, all that’s left will be to win a dirt race, which there are plenty of throughout the map. If you’re yet to complete the second task in the Theory of Evolution, check out our guide on where to find the Sekibe Time Attack.
