What to expect from Black Ops 7 Season 5
When Black Ops 7 was released, Treyarch set a precedent with their post-launch support. Each update has added a, quite frankly, staggering amount of content, and yet again, Season 5 is exactly the same. We’re getting five new multiplayer maps including remasters of Dig (Black Ops 2) and Frequency (Black Ops 4), along with three new modes.
On the zombies front, Rex Infernus is a brand new map, alongside Eidskallen Lighthouse, in survival. Meanwhile, Kowakujo and Astra Malorum are getting two new modes. In endgame, the Burn Run assignment is coming, along with ability boosts.
In Warzone, Verdansk is getting a new place of interest: Drone Labs. The map will have supply drones, which carry valuable gear and can be shot down, and there’ll be an armed JLTV vehicle, which requiers codes to access, inside Drone Labs. Two new modes are coming to Warzone alongside all this, as is a new killstreak, and more.
Finally, there are also a bunch of new weapons coming to the whole Call of Duty suite, including the FG42 assault rifle, Mammoth LMG, Gremlin SMG, and Mace melee weapon. Not to mention six new attachments, operator skins, bundles, and more. You can read more about season 5 on the official Call of Duty site.
