Where to find ancient bones in Palworld

Ancient bones are an important type of material in Palworld if you plan on crafting some epic equipment. Just like coralum ore, these bones are rare, and you can only find them in a tightly secured high-level area on the map. The risk is worthwhile though, considering you can craft some of the strongest pieces of gear in the game.

How to get ancient bones in Palworld

You obtain ancient bones in Palworld from half-buried rib cages found in the Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 on the northeast side of the map. Since there are no statues within the area, the closest fast travel point is Deep Sand Dunes on the east coast of the Sand Dunes region.

You can easily spot the rib cages beside the large fossil structures on the island. There are usually four nodes, and you can gather ancient bones from them using any type of tool, from pickaxes to a plasma multicutter.

This is a high-level area guarded by level 80 drones, so be sure to collect the materials and leave while avoiding the red lights.
